In the production of hot-rolled round bars the steel in accordance with GOST 2590-88, as well as GOST 7417-75 for calibrated cold drawn bars is used.
The following types of steel are used: alloy, low-carbon and carbon. The length of rolled metal products can be short, single-length, as well as random length. The section may be oval, but in such cases, all deviations are regulated in the data sheet of the product in accordance with the relevant GOSTs at the time of production.
